Zastosowanie jednego rodzaju powtarzalnego modułu upraszcza produkcję i logistykę, a przede wszystkim umożliwia automatyzację i robotyzację procesu montażu schronu.

Modular System for Automated Construction of Household Shelters of Arbitrary Floor Area

Abstract

The article presents the concept of the Shelter-Z Extremely Modular System, based on a single type of spatial precast concrete protective module. Appropriate connection patterns between identical modules enable the creation of domes and elongated barrel-vaulted structures terminated with half-domes, and thus household shelters of different floor areas. The outer layer of the precast element is conceived as lightweight fiber-reinforced concrete capable of absorbing part of the energy of projectiles and fragments while reducing the risk of ricochet. The use of a single type of repetitive module simplifies production and logistics and, most importantly, facilitates the automation and robotization of the shelter assembly process.
